EVENT COORDINATOR

We host events at least once a month and are in need of volunteers who are available to help prep, organize, and run these gatherings. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and execute Lean In WiTI-hosted, partner-hosted, and community events.

  • Develop a collaborative program of monthly Tech events including workshops, Tech Talks, Webinars and other special events.

  • Coordinate and communicate with team members as well as external POCs for space planning, schedule planning, audio-visual, and food/beverage and other event logistics.

  • Strive for continuous improvement by developing and deploying post event surveys and assessing outcomes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess excellent communication, presentation skills (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented. 

  • Able to work with minimal supervision and handle ambiguity.

  • Able to multi-task with several projects at a time.

  • Able to commit at least 15-20 hours per month.
